Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has said that Carlos Tevez is "vital" to his team.
The Argentine scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over Swansea City at the Etihad Stadium this afternoon, lifting the Citizens into first in the Premier League.
"Carlos played very well against West Brom and again today," said Mancini. "He worked very hard and I am very pleased for him.
"He scored a good goal at an important time and is a vital player for this team."
Tevez has bagged four goals in 10 games this season.
