Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is reportedly the frontrunner to replace Gary Neville at Valencia in the summer.
Pellegrini will leave his position at the Etihad Stadium when the season comes to a close as City have already agreed to appoint current Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola in the summer.
Neville took on his first managerial job at the Mestalla in December, but it has taken 10 games for him to claim his first win in La Liga.
Reports in Spain have claimed that the former Manchester United captain will be replaced by a more experienced candidate at the end of the season.
According to Super Deporte, Pellegrini is the favourite to take over at Valencia and talks between both parties have already begun.
Pellegrini, who joined the North-West outfit in 2013, has won the Premier League title and the League Cup at City.
