Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri predicts MLS switch

Samir Nasri says that he would like to move to the MLS to "discover something different" when his Manchester City career comes to and end.

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has said that he sees himself moving to the MLS when his City career comes to an end.

The former France international, who retired from the national team after being left out of Didier Deschamps's 2014 World Cup squad, ruled out a return to France, citing the States as his preferred next move.

"I do not see myself returning to [France's] Ligue 1," Nasri told Canal+ Sport.

"I love the Premier League. I like my life in England. I see myself going to play in MLS – to discover something different – rather than going back to France."

The 28-year-old is contracted to City until 2019.
