Ten penalties to rival Edin Dzeko's miss

Following Edin Dzeko's missed penalty earlier today, Sports Mole picks out 10 more poorly taken spot kicks.

Taking a penalty - it looks easy, doesn't it? After all, it's only 12 yards out and the goalkeeper has no real idea as to where you are going to place the ball.

However, some of the world's best players have fluffed their lines from the spot and in some high-profile matches as well. The latest to send the ball skywards was Edin Dzeko, who did so as Manchester City defeated Sunderland 1-0 in the final of the Barclays Asia Trophy this afternoon.

Below, Sports Mole has picked out 10 more penalties that rival Dzeko's error. Look out for some familiar faces!

Jaap Stam

Amir Sayoud

David Beckham

Jonathan Soriano

Pilo

Francesco Totti

Chris Waddle

Roberto Baggio

Eric Cantona

Peter Devine
