Carlos Tevez has claimed that there was "too much pressure" at former club Manchester City following his move to Juventus.
The Argentine striker recently joined the Serie A champions for a reported £10m after spending four controversial years at the Etihad Stadium.
"Yes, there was way too much pressure," Tevez told CNN. "It came from everyone - the club, the fans. I think that too much pressure just hurts the team.
"What happened was that there was so much hype and pressure to be one of the giants of Europe and we didn't do it."
Tevez won the Premier League title and the FA Cup during his time at City.
