Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has taken exception to comments made by the club's former centre-forward Rodney Marsh about his happiness at the club.
Earlier today Marsh had claimed that he had heard rumours regarding the 30-year-old's future at the club, which Toure subsequently refuted on Twitter.
However, this afternoon Marsh tweeted:
Ask yourselves this. Why would YaYa dash to deny a rumour from an old man sitting in Starbucks in Florida?

It prompted this response from Toure:
@RodneyMarsh10 Out of respect for my fans and my club!! How can I be unhappy when i get so much love and respect from everyone in city?

Toure joined City from Spanish side Barcelona in the summer of 2010.
