Kolo Toure has said that his brother and Manchester City teammate Yaya has been an "amazing" help during his six-month ban for a failed drugs test.
The Ivorian, who returned to training last week, has insisted that he did not intend to take his wife's slimming pills, which were what caused him to test positive for a banned substance during February's Manchester derby.
"The first one I spoke to was Yaya," he told The Mirror. "I explained to him what had happened. He has been really amazing for me.
"I remembered that at the end of the season when he received an award and he just gave it to me in front of the team, the chairman... everybody. I will never forget that time. It showed that a brother is a brother.
"I have to say as well that all the guys at the club have been great to me. The staff and the players supported me very, very much. It's been really great."
The 30-year-old could return when the Citizens welcome Wigan to the Etihad Stadium on next Saturday.
