Real Madrid youngsters dump out Manchester City

Borja Mayoral scores twice as Real Madrid record a 3-1 win over Manchester City in the UEFA Youth League.

Manchester City's Under-19s have been knocked out of the UEFA Youth League by their Real Madrid counterparts this evening.

In an encounter that was played at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano, hosting Madrid held a 2-0 lead at the break thanks to a brace from highly-rated youngster Borja Mayoral.

Daniel Grimshaw then reduced the arrears in the 63rd minute, but the outcome was decided four minutes from time when Madrid's Achraf Hakimi found the back of the net via the underside of the crossbar.

The Madrid youngsters will now take on the winners of FK Pribram's clash against Benfica in the quarter-finals.
