James Milner is one of four players to be brought into the Manchester City team for their match at Reading.

Stand-in manager Brian Kidd has made four alterations to the Manchester City starting lineup for this evening's Premier League encounter against Reading.

James Milner, Kolo Toure, Joleon Lescott and Micah Richards have all been called up by Kidd, who has taken charge of the team following the sacking of Roberto Mancini last night.

Meanwhile, the hosting Royals are unchanged, which means that Pavel Pogrebnyak will keep his role as a lone striker.

Reading: McCarthy; Gunter, Morrison, Mariappa, Kelly; Karacan, Guthrie, McCleary, McAnuff, Robson-Kanu; Pogrebnyak

Man City: Hart; Richards, Clichy, K Toure, Lescott; Milner, Y Toure, Barry, Silva; Tevez, Aguero
