Phil Foden, Ederson - Manchester City injury news and return dates before Wolverhampton Wanderers game

Sports Mole rounds up all of Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Manchester City are back in action on Saturday evening when they play host to Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Etihad Stadium.

As a result of their Champions League quarter-final exit, City will have had six days to prepare for this contest on the back of their 2-0 victory at Nottingham Forest last weekend.

Although Arsenal are playing in the early kickoff on Saturday and could potentially go four points clear in the standings, Pep Guardiola's side continue to have their fate in their own hands heading into this contest.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of hosting Wolves, who prevailed in the reverse fixture back in September.

Phil Foden

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: May 4 (vs. Wolves)

Phil Foden was a surprise absentee for the Forest game due to illness. However, the expectation is that the playmaker will be back in the squad, potentially the starting lineup for this contest.

Ruben Dias

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: May 4 (vs. Wolves)

Like Foden, Ruben Dias has been ill in recent days, but Guardiola indicated that the "fever" that the centre-back was dealing with was more severe than what Foden had. Nevertheless, Dias is in line to return to the squad for this encounter.

Ederson
