Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that his father held talks with Manchester City about a potential transfer over the summer.
The 27-year-old was linked with the two-time Premier League champions, as well as Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, after scoring 39 goals in all competitions last season.
Despite the interest, Aubameyang opted to remain with the Bundesliga club, which he joined from Saint-Etienne in 2013.
"It's true, there was contact [from City]," the forward told Onze Mondial. "My father held talks with the club, but in the end there was nothing concrete. I think there was interest [from Real], but it was more distant so I didn't get too carried away."
Aubameyang also revealed that PSG have had a long-standing interest in him, and he has not ruled out a future move to Parc des Princes.
"At the end of my first season in the Bundesliga there was contact and the next summer, too. In fact, almost every year. [PSG] took it poorly, it didn't happen - that's all I can say," he added.
"I don't especially want to return to France immediately. But it's true that PSG have the ambition to win the Champions League, so they could be interested in a player like me."
Aubameyang has scored eight goals so far this season.
