Barcelona plan to re-sign teenager Adrian Bernabe from Manchester City this summer, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly planning to re-sign Adrian Bernabe from Manchester City this summer.

The 19-year-old played for La Masia between 2014 and 2018 before joining Man City, and he has made five first-team appearances for Pep Guardiola's side, all of which have come in the EFL Cup.

The teenager has also been on the bench in the Champions League and Premier League this season but will be out of contract at the end of June and looks set to leave the Etihad Stadium on a free transfer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca are working to re-sign the Spaniard, with the Catalan giants believing that he has the potential to be a first-team player in the future.

Bernabe has shown his versatility for Manchester City Under-23s, featuring as a left-back, left midfielder and a central midfielder during the 2020-21 campaign.

Barca are also thought to be closing in on deals for Eric Garcia and Sergio Aguero, who will both be out of contract with the Citizens at the end of June.
