Barcelona are reportedly prepared to pay Erling Braut Haaland as much as £157m over a five-year contract to secure his signature this summer.
Although the Catalan giants have had well-documented financial issues, speculation persists that they will continue an overhaul of their squad ahead of 2022-23.
While a number of players could arrive at Camp Nou on free transfers, it has been alleged that the priority remains winning the race for Haaland.
According to Deportes Cuatro, via Sport, club officials are willing to put together a £157m package to get a deal for the Norway international over the line.
The report claims that Haaland would initially earn £16.5m per year, with his wages eventually rising to in excess of £41.5m for the final two seasons.
As a result of Haaland's reported £67m release clause, any interested club will need to make an approach this summer or see the 21-year-old spend the best years of his career as a rival, either domestic or continental.
Haaland, who has also been linked with the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid, has contributed 23 goals in all competitions this season.
