Bayern Munich have reportedly made an approach for Manchester City winger Leroy Sane.
The 23-year-old has played a significant role in City winning two successive Premier League titles, but the Germany international has found himself in and out of Pep Guardiola's starting lineup this season.
Sane has just two years remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium, and the Daily Record claims that Bayern have identified the attacker as a potential summer signing.
The Bundesliga leaders require replacements for Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, who will leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the campaign.
The report adds that City are keen to keep Sane in the North-West of England, however, and talks are likely to be held between the two parties in the coming weeks.
