Rumours are rife on Twitter that Carlos Tevez is close to making a return to West Ham United.
The Manchester City striker has recently seen proposed transfers to AC Milan, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain fall through.
However, Upton Park has now emerged as the shock destination for the 27-year-old, who is currently in his native Argentina following a fall-out with City boss Roberto Mancini.
Bookmakers have also slashed their odds on Tevez returning to the Hammers.
"Carlos Tevez could be returning to West Ham - we've gone evens for him to sign by the end of transfer window," Sky Bet announced on their Twitter page.
Tevez originally joined West Ham in 2006 and spent one year in East London before leaving to sign for Manchester United.
