Manchester City are reportedly weighing up the options surrounding Carlos Tevez's future.
The Argentinian striker has a year left to run on his current contract and City officials are unsure about offering the 29-year-old an extension, according to The Guardian.
Tevez is said to currently earn around £250,000 per week and the club think that a fresh deal may not be worth the investment for a player who will turn 30 in February.
However, City are aware that failure to make Tevez a new offer could see him leave the club for nothing in 12 months' time.
Tevez signed for City from local rivals Manchester United for £25m in 2009.
