Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has warned potential suitors that the club have no intention of selling star striker Sergio Aguero.
The Argentine forward has scored 93 goals in 140 games since joining from Atletico Madrid to establish himself as one of the best forwards in the world.
However, despite Liverpool losing Luis Suarez to Barcelona and Manchester United losing Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid in recent years, Pellegrini has insisted that big clubs will not be able to bully the English champions into selling their prized asset.
The Chilean is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "City is not a club that sells its players. It is a club that wants to buy good players as we want to improve every year."
Aguero will make his 100th Premier League appearance when City face second-placed Southampton on Sunday.
