Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly weighing up an £8m move for NK Lokomotiva midfielder Lovro Majer, who is also a target for Celtic.
The 20-year-old has two seasons of top-flight football under his belt at Lokomotiva and has already been capped by Croatia at senior level.
Having been linked with a move to Celtic in the past, The Sun suggests that Premier League champions Man City have also entered the bidding.
Guardiola is said to have targeted Majer as a long-term replacement for outgoing midfielder Yaya Toure, with a loan move in his first campaign at the Etihad Stadium a possibility if a deal goes through.
Majer has scored 11 goals in 30 appearances for Lokomotiva in the Croatian top flight this season.
