Manchester City are reportedly hopeful that their pursuit of a historic treble will persuade Erling Braut Haaland to extend his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
The Norwegian striker has enjoyed an exceptional record-breaking debut campaign with the Citizens since joining from Borussia Dortmund for £51m last summer.
Haaland is the first player in Premier League history to win both the Player & Young Player of the Season awards after scoring a record 36 goals in just 35 matches in the 2022-23 campaign.
The 22-year-old has scored an astonishing 52 goals in as many matches for Man City across all competitions, with his goals hugely contributing to Pep Guardiola's side winning the Premier League title and FA Cup.
Haaland was unable to find the net in City's 2-1 FA Cup final triumph over rivals Manchester United last weekend, but he will be hoping to help the Citizens end their wait for Champions League glory when they face Inter Milan in next Saturday's final in Istanbul.

Haaland is understood to have penned a five-year contract until June 2027 worth £400,000 per week when he arrived at Man City last summer, and therefore still has another four years left to run on his existing deal.
However, The Telegraph reports that the Citizens are keen to tie down their No.9 to fresh terms to make it harder for long-term admirers Real Madrid to launch a pursuit for the striker.
Los Blancos were linked with Haaland before he decided to join Man City, and Carlo Ancelotti's side are now in the market for a new centre-forward following the announcement that club legend Karim Benzema will be leaving the club when his contract expires this summer.
Man City have previously given first-team players new contracts shortly after their arrival as a reward for their impact at the club, with World Cup winner Julian Alvarez the most recent Citizens star to pen fresh terms in March.
Guardiola's side may also look to remove or increase the buyout clause in Haaland's contract, with the player's agent Rafaela Pimenta recently insisting that the value of the clause cannot be revealed.

Asked by Mundo Deportivo if Haaland's clause is tied to Guardiola staying at Man City, Pimenta said: "I have nothing to clarify. The mystery of this story is nice because nobody knows where it is, like a treasure chest. It's more beautiful and, as a lawyer, I can't reveal the details of contracts."
Pimenta added: "[Haaland can go] wherever he wants. He is a player that has never been seen before.
"For me, his quality in everything and his ability to evolve are very impressive. He is capable of adapting quickly to a new club, new city, new coach... it's as if he has always been there. That gives you a lot of peace of mind and allows you to move forward.
"He is very calm in his professional and personal life, he has the quality. Today, he is in the right place, with the right team and the right coach.
"In Brazil, we say that the sky is the limit. I think he is going to break all the records."
Man City are also looking to extend captain Ilkay Gundogan's contract which is due to expire at the end of this month.
