Inter Milan have reportedly identified Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero as a potential transfer target.
At a time when City are said to be in the market for a new centre-back, Milan Skriniar's stock at San Siro has lowered after a number of below-par performances.
According to Calciomercato, this has led to Inter being prepared to consider a proposal which would see Aguero move in the opposite direction.
Although the Argentine holds legendary status at the Etihad Stadium, he has just 12 months remaining on his existing contract.
Despite Aguero having recently turned 32 years old, his arrival would give Inter more leeway when it comes to cashing in on Lautaro Martinez.
Much could depend on whether City are able to convince Aguero to pen fresh terms, aware that he also has aspirations to return to his homeland in the future.
