Inter Milan have reportedly opened talks with Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko over a January move.
The 26-year-old has started the last two league games for the Premier League champions, but 11 of his 18 league outings this term have come from the bench.
According to reports in Italy, Inter are keen to sign the powerful striker as a long-term replacement for Diego Milito.
Dzeko, who joined City from Wolfsburg in 2011, is understood to be keen to secure regular first-team football at this stage of his career.
