Juventus deny Paul Pogba sale

Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta denies that the Italian champions have agreed to sell Paul Pogba to Barcelona.

Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta has denied suggestions that the Italian champions have agreed to sell Paul Pogba to Barcelona.

Reports in Spain had claimed that Wednesday's meeting between the two clubs ended with an agreement that would see the French international make the move to Spain when Barca's transfer ban is lifted next year.

However, such talk has been denied by Marotta, with the Italian revealing that Barca have not yet met Juve's valuation of the player.

"Barcelona offered us €80m (£57m) for Pogba but we don't want to sell him," Marotta told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Pogba, who has also been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City, is believed to be valued in the region of £71m.
