Barcelona youngster Juan Larios is to join Manchester City in the coming days as the Citizens continue to revamp their youth setup, according to a report.

Manchester City are reportedly on the verge of snapping up highly-rated teenage defender Juan Larios from Barcelona.

The Citizens are in the process of revamping their academy setup and have already brought in eight youngsters over the past three months.

According to the Daily Mail, Larios will be the next player to arrive in the coming days after catching the eye at age-grade level for Barca.

Larios turned 16 in January and primarily plays as a full-back - a position that City are said to already have a number of talented youngsters in.

City are also rumoured to be close to signing Spanish youth international Pablo Moreno from Juventus, before loaning him straight out to sister club Girona.
