Manchester City have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Amiens midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
The 21-year-old spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Lyon, scoring once and registering seven assists in 50 matches.
According to French outlet Paris United, Man City scouts have been monitoring Ndombele's progress after his breakthrough campaign.
The report claims that the French Under-21 international is viewed by Pep Guardiola as a potential successor to Fernandinho.
Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Liverpool and Roma are also reportedly monitoring Ndombele, while Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus are believed to have already opened talks over a potential move.
