Aston Villa youngster Jacob Ramsey has caught the eye of scouts from Manchester City, according to a report.

Manchester City are reportedly keeping a close eye on Aston Villa starlet Jacob Ramsey.

The 20-year-old has established himself as a regular for the West Midlands side under Dean Smith this term, starting four of their six Premier League games so far in the 2021-22 season.

Ramsey extended his deal at Villa Park until the summer of 2025 earlier this year, but his emergence has supposedly alerted Pep Guardiola's title winners.

According to Fichajes, Ramsey has caught the eye of Man City scouts, and the Premier League champions are monitoring his development ahead of a potential move.

Barring a six-month loan spell at Doncaster Rovers, Ramsey has spent his whole career at Villa Park, working his way through the youth ranks before making his first-team debut against West Bromwich Albion in the 2018-19 Championship season.

The midfielder has made 33 appearances for Smith's side across all competitions but is still awaiting his first goal for his boyhood club.
