Manchester City have reportedly identified Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile as a potential future transfer target.
The Premier League champions are currently well stocked for options in the middle of their backline, meaning that they do not have any immediate plans to strengthen their ranks in that area of the pitch.
Nevertheless, according to RMC Sport, City are already giving thought to possible additions in the future.
The report suggests that City have become admirers of Badiashile, the 20-year-old already sought after by several other clubs in the Premier League.
Newcastle United and West Ham United are both allegedly prepared to make an investment in the Frenchman during one of the next two transfer windows.
Despite Badiashile possessing a contract at Monaco until 2024, the Ligue 1 outfit may be prepared to consider a sale for the right price.
