Manchester City will reportedly table an £88m bid for Juventus winger Douglas Costa.
The Brazilian, who spent last season on loan at the Serie A outfit from Bayern Munich, made his stay in Turin permanent, signing for the Italian champions for £35m.
News outlet Sport Mediaset says, however, that City boss Pep Guardiola has not been deterred by the move and is planning an £88m bid to bring the 27-year-old to the Etihad.
The player, who is currently preparing for the World Cup, would be one of several Brazilians at the Etihad including Ederson, Gabriel Jesus and Fernandinho, who have also been included in Tite's 23-man roster for Russia.
Costa signed for Bayern from Shakhtar Donetsk for £25m in 2015 while Guardiola was the manager of the German champions.
