Manchester City are planning to launch an ambitious bid for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, according to reports.
Citizens manager Manuel Pellegrini, who managed the 28-year-old during his time as Real boss, is said to be eager to sign the Spanish international.
According to the Daily Star, the Premier League champions are willing to offer the former Sevilla man a contract worth £7.7m a year.
Ramos, who helped Los Merengues win the Champions League last season, is also said to be on Chelsea's radar.
