Manchester City are reportedly preparing a bid of £20m for Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson Moraes next summer.
The 23-year-old currently plies his trade with Benfica in Portugal's Primeira Liga and is wanted by City manager Pep Guardiola as backup to first-choice stopper Claudio Bravo.
Bravo joined the Citizens over the summer after Guardiola deemed Joe Hart surplus to requirements, farming him out on loan to Serie A side Torino.
Hart is now expected to be sold off over the summer and has reportedly been given a price tag of £10m for foreign clubs and at least £20m for Premier League sides.
Moraes moved to Benfica in a £425,000 deal from Rio Ave in 2015, going on to win the Primeira Liga title and the Taca de Portugal in his first season with the club.
