Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that Yaya Toure has no intention of leaving the club this summer.
After struggling to hit his best form on a consistent basis in City's disappointing title defence, it has been suggested that Toure will join a number of the club's stars in departing the Etihad Stadium.
Inter Milan have made it clear that they are interested in signing the Ivorian, but Pellegrini has claimed that he is planning for the future with the midfielder in his team.
"When the media asked me about a month ago I always said that Yaya is very happy here," he told reporters.
"He doesn't have any intention to go to another club. Maybe his agent is talking about other things, but the reality is Yaya will stay here with us.
"I am always talking with all the players. That's why when I said Yaya will stay here it's because I know the way he thinks."
Toure has two years remaining on his current deal with City.
