Pompey leading chase for Manchester City midfielder

Portsmouth are favourites to sign Manchester City midfielder Abdul Razak on loan, according to Sky Sports News.

The 18-year-old is reportedly being tracked by a number of Championship clubs as City are considering sending the Ivorian out to gain first-team experience.

He has started both of the Citizens' Carling Cup ties, featuring for 85 minutes in Wednesday's 5-2 win at Wolves.

Pompey are still searching for a new manager following Steve Cotterill's appointment at Nottingham Forest.
