Real Madrid have realised that they may miss out on signing Erling Braut Haaland, according to a report.
Los Blancos have been strongly linked with the 21-year-old, as Carlo Ancelotti is eager to strengthen his attack.
It has been reported that Haaland has a €75m (£64.39m) release clause at Borussia Dortmund, which has peaked the interest of several clubs around Europe.
However, AS claims that Real Madrid have conceded they are unlikely to win the race for his signature considering the competition from other teams.
The report adds that Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have made Haaland their priority target, while Bayern Munich and Saudi-backed Newcastle United are also monitoring the situation.
The Norwegian international has scored 13 goals in 10 appearances for Borussia Dortmund this season and is the joint-top scorer in the Bundesliga with Robert Lewandowski.
