Barcelona are reportedly determined to win the race for Erling Braut Haaland and are prepared to play the long game for the Borussia Dortmund striker.
The Norway international's entourage recently held talks with Barca president Joan Laporta over a big-money move this summer.
However, reports from Germany this week suggested that the 20-year-old favours a move to either Real Madrid or Manchester City.
According to Mundo Deportivo, though, Barca will not give up on signing Haaland, even if it means delaying a move until next year.
It is claimed that the Catalan giants intend to assure the in-demand striker that he will be the focal point of their side for many years to come.
Haaland has scored 33 goals in 34 appearances for Dortmund in all competitions this term, while also providing 10 assists.
