Roma have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic in January.
The Serbian has found first-team opportunities limited under Manuel Pellegrini after starting 21 Premier League games in Roberto Mancini's last season in charge.
Consequently, the 21-year-old is said to have grown disillusioned with life at Eastlands and, according to the Daily Star, the Serie A giants will offer him an escape route this winter.
Nastasic, a £12m signing from Fiorentina two years ago, is contracted to the Etihad Stadium club until 2017.
