Sergio Aguero's agent insists that his client will not be leaving Manchester City during this summer's transfer window.

The agent of Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has insisted that his client will not be leaving the reigning Premier League champions during this summer's transfer window.

A recent report claimed that both Real Madrid and Inter Milan had contacted the Argentina international over a potential move ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

However, according to Hernan Reguera, who represents City's all-time leading goalscorer, the 31-year-old will not be leaving the Etihad Stadium until at least the end of next season.

"Sergio has a contract with Manchester City until the end of June 2021," Reguera told FCInterNews. "There's no chance he'll leave early, after that we'll see what happens. Have I spoken with Inter? No, and the reason is simple. Aguero is perfectly happy at Man City and has no intention of changing teams."

The South American has again been in impressive form for Pep Guardiola's side during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring 23 times in 30 appearances in all competitions.

In all, Aguero has managed 254 goals in 368 outings for the Citizens since arriving in 2011.
