Manchester City forward David Silva has reportedly entered talks with Vissel Kobe over the possibility of linking up with former Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta next summer.
The 33-year-old, who moved to the Etihad in 2010, is expected to leave the club once his current deal expires in June.
Silva has been linked with moves to several clubs, including boyhood side Las Palmas as well as Inter Miami, David Beckham's new MLS outfit.
According to El Chiringuito TV, the Spaniard could end up playing with former national teammate Iniesta having established talks with Kobe.
The Japanese side boast a selection of big names in their roster such as Lukas Podolski, Thomas Vermaelen and Sergi Samper.
Meanwhile, City have commenced their bid to locate a replacement for Silva, with reports suggesting that Real Madrid midfielder Isco was being viewed as an option.
