Toure denies Real approach

Manchester City's Yaya Toure has denied reports that he has held talks with Jose Mourinho about a move to Real Madrid.

Speaking to radio station RAC1, the midfielder remained coy about his future at the Etihad, but insisted that the Spanish champions have not contacted him.

"I cannot say anything about that. We have to wait and see what happens. Mourinho has not called me," he said.

Speculation over Toure's future at Man City has been mounting since his agent hinted that he is looking for a new challenge.

Toure, who has three years remaining on his current contract, joined the Premier League champions from Barcelona for around £24m in 2010.
