Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has admitted that his side contributed to their own downfall as they bowed out of the Champions League on Tuesday night.
A 3-2 defeat away at Wolfsburg left United in third place in their group behind the German side and PSV Eindhoven, and Fellaini has called on his team to try to put the disappointment to one side in order to save the rest of their season.
The 28-year-old told BT Sport: "It is difficult for us. We are disappointed. We should win against PSV at home. We created a lot of chances. We should win. They scored three goals from set pieces. We should defend better.
"We are not lucky tonight. In the last 10 minutes we played with 10 men (because Smalling was injured). It was more difficult. We have to forget this disappointment quickly. We have to recover quickly and focus on the next game."
United will feature in the last 32 of the Europa League in February.
