Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has labelled Ashley Young's recent dive as "embarrassing".
The 30-year-old winger, who has been criticised for simulation before, hit the ground before contact was made while trying to draw a foul from Georgi Shchennikov against CSKA Moscow last night.
The dive came 18 minutes into the match, which eventually ended in a 1-0 win for United thanks to a 79th-minute goal from Wayne Rooney.
"Ashley needs to stop doing this - he knows that himself, but it's just a habit and he can't get rid of it," Scholes said on BT Sport.
"It's so obvious and he just needs to get this out of his game. It is embarrassing and Ashley knows it. He's a really good player and he doesn't need to resort to those tactics, but I just think it's ingrained in him."
The victory put United top of Group B in the Championship, one point above PSV Eindhoven.
