Ipswich vs. Fulham (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Having finally got off the mark in the Premier League at the 10th attempt, Bournemouth will endeavour to pull off a significant EFL Cup scalp when Liverpool head to the Vitality Stadium for Wednesday's fourth-round showdown.
The Cherries eased past Stoke City 2-0 in their previous knockout affair, while the Reds came from behind to record a 3-1 win - as has been tradition this season - over Leicester City.

Boosted by a timely injection of confidence, Bournemouth ought to play without fear in a contest where few will expect them to come out on top, which might spell danger for a Liverpool backline that remains far from impermeable.
Klopp will certainly not be afraid to shuffle his pack, but with an enviable selection of in-form attackers bound to begin the contest, the Reds should still prove too hot for the Cherries to handle.

Blackburn will fancy their chances given their goalscoring exploits in this competition so far, and the form of Chelsea, but a huge upset may be just beyond them.

Everton vs. Burnley (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Something is just not clicking with Man United's expensively-assembled attacking contingent at the moment, and not even the introduction of a few fresh legs should help to solve Ten Hag's conundrum in all areas of the field.
Newcastle's poor away record does at least offer the Red Devils some hope of keeping their grip on the trophy, and 90 minutes may not be enough to settle a repeat of the 2022-23 final, but we can envisage the Magpies holding their nerve from 12 yards to eliminate the holders and prolong the Red Devils' distress.
