Ryan Giggs has said that Manchester United teammate Paul Scholes is "easily" the best player that he has ever played with.
The Welshman believes that the 37-year-old midfielder has had his best season in a United shirt after coming out of retirement in January.
Giggs said that Scholes could add invaluable experience to England's squad at Euro 2012 if selected by new manager Roy Hodgson.
"It's probably the best he's ever played since he's come back," said Giggs. "He just doesn't give the ball away, he controls the tempo of games.
"He's easily the best player I've played with because he makes it looks so easy. He's the kind of player you'd want in your team at the Euros.
"He is a one-off. To see it first hand every day in training it's not like he just turns up for games and does it he does it every day in training."
Scholes has 66 caps for England to his name.
