Ander Herrera confident of beating Arsenal in FA Cup quarter-finals

Ander Herrera is confident that Manchester United will beat holders Arsenal in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has insisted that the team is capable of beating Arsenal in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

United set up a clash with the holders on Monday night as they came from behind to beat Preston North End 3-1 at Deepdale.

Arsenal are the favourites to lift the trophy for the second consecutive season, but Herrera believes that the Red Devils have what it takes to see them off.

"We have to keep playing in this competition [and it will be] against Arsenal who are one of the best teams at the moment," the Spaniard told the club's official website.

"But we are Manchester United and have a very good spirit and we showed it today. We have very good players and very good staff and we are going to improve."

Herrera was among the goalscorers last night to help United get past Preston.
