Manchester United stars Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard leave the club's training session on Friday barely 15 minutes after arriving as they struggle with illness.

Manchester United stars Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard both left the club's training session on Friday barely 15 minutes after arriving as they struggle with illness.

French forward Martial, who has scored 10 goals in 20 appearances for the Red Devils this season, arrived at Carrington at 9.55am, only to leave at 10.10am, while Lingard left at 9.48am, 17 minutes after he had arrived.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed in his press conference that several players are doubts for Saturday's FA Cup third-round tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers through illness.

The Norwegian said: "There are a couple of niggles, well not niggles, illnesses and colds, which is normal for this time of year, so I'll just have to see who wakes up tomorrow and feels okay."

Both players started in the club's 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on New Year's Day at the Emirates Stadium.
