Premier League 100 club: Son Heung-min closes in on Cristiano Ronaldo tally

Sports Mole looks at the latest standings in the Premier League 100 club after goals for Jamie Vardy and Son Heung-min during the midweek round of fixtures.

Son Heung-min completed a dramatic comeback for Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night to rescue a 2-2 draw from 2-0 down against Manchester United.

The South Korean's goal was his 102nd in the Premier League, taking him to within one of Man United legend Cristiano Ronaldo's tally in the competition.

It was also created by fellow 100-club member Harry Kane, who has now directly assisted 24 top-flight goals for Son to equal the all-time Premier League record from one player to another, previously held by Frank Lampard to Didier Drogba.

Jamie Vardy also scored his first league goal since October to move back to within one of Mohamed Salah's tally in the competition.

Here, Sports Mole looks at the latest standings in the Premier League 100 club following the midweek action.
