Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has allegedly opted against having surgery on his ankle during the middle of the season.
Aside from appearances in two matches, Pogba has been absent since the start of September, leading to suggestions that he may have played his last game for the club.
However, at a time when manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that the World Cup winner will not be leaving for Real Madrid, it appears that the France international is keen to return as soon as possible.
Despite having the option to have an operation on the problem area, Le 10 Sport claims that the 26-year-old will instead attempt to manage the issue over the next seven months.
The report suggests that Pogba is prioritising being fit to represent his country at Euro 2020, which takes place in the weeks after the end of the campaign.
The club-record signing may return to the squad over the Christmas period.
