Nani to start for Manchester United against Chelsea?

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly ready to give Nani his first start in over a month against Chelsea in the League Cup on Wednesday night.

Nani has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford, with Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young being preferred ahead of the Portuguese winger.

However, Ferguson is prepared to give the former Sporting Lisbon star a chance to prove his worth at the club by handing him a starting berth against Roberto Di Matteo's side, according to The Mirror.

Nani signed for United for £25m from Sporting in 2007.
