Good afternoon! Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is preparing for his side's match against Sunderland in the Premier League this weekend. With wins over Southampton and Liverpool in their last outings, United should be confident of beating the side that sit bottom in the table.
With four wins from their opening six fixture, United sit second in the table ahead of this match, just behind local rivals Man City. The arrival of Anthony Martial from AS Monaco on transfer deadline day has been a big boost for the club, with the teenager scoring three goals in his first two league starts for the team, and another against Ipswich in the League Cup. If he scores again this weekend, he'll be the first United player to net goals in his first four appearances for the club.
The manager has been speaking with the club's TV channel ahead of his press conference, and has confirmed that Marcos Rojo, Paddy McNair and Luke Shaw are the only injury absentees for this match. Shaw, as you're probably well aware, recently suffered a double leg fracture during a champions League outing. The manager spoke to the England international last night, and told MUTV: "He was very positive , which is amazing for me. It's a very good signal. We have started rehabilitation. He shall be visited at home for the first electro muscle stimulants."
The club has been looking back at some of their previous matches with Sunderland on their social media accounts ahead of tomorrow's clash at Old Trafford, including this Paul Scholes goal:

The manager will be heading into the press centre shortly, so there's just time for a reminder that you can follow live coverage of this match with Sports Mole tomorrow, including all the team news, post-match reaction and loads more, so make sure you're with us again tomorrow.
Right then, the manager is ready to speak, so let's see what he has to say this afternoon.
Van Gaal is asked about Martial's bright start to life at the club, and he says: "He's still living in the hotel, so he's in the first phase of his adaptation. We have to wait to see when he settles in in a house or apartment, his wife is alone with his kid. Maybe he has to do shopping. Now it is still only living in a hotel and coming to the training session. It's the same as in Monaco except that he's in a hotel, and that's a protected area. It's a bit of luck, but the main thing is quality."
Van Gaal is asked is Martial is getting distracted by talk of him becoming the first United player to score in their first four matches: "I don't think so because he doesn't read the papers, maybe he hears it from his fellow players, but I don't think his fellow players will say that he can break the record. His personality is that he's an open guy, he's listening, he's focussing on the matches. He's a coachable player, that's why I like him and I bought him."
Van Gaal admits that he feels for compatriot and Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat: "I sympathise with him. I hope Sunderland win every game, apart from again us."
Van Gaal confirms that James Wilson will not be going out on loan for the foreseeable future: "I have talked with him, and I think we wait until December."
Well, that's all from a fairly brief Van Gaal press conference this week. The manager was clearly keen to play down expectations on Anthony Martial ahead of a potentially record-breaking match for the youngster.
So, join us again tomorrow to see if Van Gaal's side can make it three wins in a row in the league. Until then, thanks for joining me this afternoon. Goodbye.
