Juventus 'eye Cristiano Ronaldo contract extension amid Manchester United interest'
Juventus are reportedly considering offering Cristiano Ronaldo a contract extension until June 2023.
The 35-year-old, who has scored 84 goals in 107 appearances for the Old Lady, has 18 months left to run on his current deal with the Italian champions.
Manchester United have recently been linked with the Portugal international amid suggestions that Juve could be prepared to let him leave at the end of the 2020-21 campaign in order to trim their wage budget.
However, according to Calciomercato, the Turin giants are putting plans in place to offer Ronaldo a 12-month extension on his current deal, taking him until the end of the 2022-23 season.
The versatile forward has been in excellent form for Andrea Pirlo's side this term, scoring 19 times in 18 appearances in all competitions, including 15 goals in 13 Serie A outings.
Ronaldo managed 118 goals and 68 assists in 292 appearances for United between 2003 and 2009, meanwhile, before joining Real Madrid, where he spent nine seasons.
Barcelona showing interest in Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot?
Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Barcelona.
Dalot is currently spending the season on loan at AC Milan, where he has made 10 starts and four substitute appearances in all competitions.
While the 21-year-old has made a positive impression at San Siro, there is no deal in place for the move to be made permanent at the end of the campaign.
According to Calciomercato, Barcelona are willing to pay £10m to sign the Portuguese ahead of the Italian giants.
The report claims that the Catalan giants are eager to increase competition for places at right-back in order to ease the burden on Sergino Dest.
Despite already selling Timothy Fosu-Mensah to Bayer Leverkusen, United are expected to be open to selling Dalot in 2021.
