The January transfer window has now closed, leaving Manchester United to begin looking forward to the summer for their next round of recruitment.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Old Trafford.
Tuesday morning's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup:
Manchester United considering Gianluigi Donnarumma swoop?
AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United.
Despite his status as first-choice stopper at San Siro, Donnarumma has just over four months remaining on his contract with the Serie A giants.
Although the 21-year-old is allegedly willing to pen fresh terms, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are said to be monitoring the situation.
According to Fichajes, United may join the race to sign Donnarumma at a time when they are contemplating the sale of David de Gea.
The long-time number one has remained ahead of Dean Henderson in the pecking order this season, a decision from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer which has divided opinion among the club's fanbase.
However, eyeing an opportunity to sign a ready-made replacement on a free transfer, the report claims that United may be willing to sell De Gea during the summer transfer window.
Erling Braut Haaland's next club 'will be in Premier League'
Erling Braut Haaland is likely to seek out a move to the Premier League when he calls time on his Borussia Dortmund career, according to European football expert Mark Langdon.
The 20-year-old's future is the subject of much speculation following his scintillating form at the Westfalenstadion, with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Manchester City all believed to be interested.
Haaland is understood to possess a £68m release clause which activates in 2022, and with the striker supposedly demanding £300k a week from potential suitors, Langdon expects the Dortmund man to head to England and link up with Pep Guardiola.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Langdon said: "He's very smart and very patient about the moves that he's already made. He could've gone to a bigger league and team than Borussia Dortmund, albeit they are a big one themselves.
"He recognised it was too big a jump to go to a Real Madrid type of team from Salzburg. He went to Salzburg, then Dortmund, I reckon he'll spend another year or so there.
"They'll get what they need out of him and then he can be on his way for that contract release clause. Where will he go? I feel like the Premier League at the moment is the place with the money.
"I'm looking at Real Madrid and Barcelona and thinking, 'How could they afford to buy him?. If you're looking at the Premier League and thinking about a team that needs a striker, Manchester City would feel like the obvious choice."
Haaland has already amassed a staggering 27 goals from 25 games in all competitions this term, including 17 in 17 Bundesliga appearances.
