Faustino Asprilla tips Radamel Falcao for Manchester United success

Former Newcastle United star Faustino Asprilla tips Colombian compatriot Radamel Falcao for success at Manchester United.

Former Newcastle United striker Faustino Asprilla has backed Radamel Falcao to be a success at Manchester United.

The Monaco forward officially signed for the Red Devils in the final few moments of transfer deadline day, and the Colombian believes that his compatriot will be a hit at Old Trafford.

He told Sky Sports News: "[Falcao] is a great goalscorer, a natural finisher and he is among the best in the world in that position.

"He will be fine [physically] because he has had ample time to recover [from his knee injury] and his therapy has been great so he should be 100%.

"I'm sure he will do very well for Manchester United."

Falcao is expected to make his United debut when they host Queens Park Rangers on Sunday.
